What a week for the Caroline Family! The elementary kids were super busy with field days, career days, and festivals. Elementary staff and families, along with our community partners, work hard to provide these amazing end of year events!

This morning, 2025-26 Caroline Teacher of the Year Andrew Buffenmyer, along with Superintendent Derek Simmons and NCHS Principal Matt Spiker, attended a State Board of Education meeting where district Teachers of the Year were recognized. We're so proud to have Mr. Buffenmyer representing the #CarolineFamily!

After her school visit in Caroline, State Supt. Dr. Wright and her team stopped by a local restaurant for lunch. She was happily recognized by our PreK teachers who were on their lunch break from a planning meeting at the district office. Dr. Wright now knows, you can't go anywhere in Caroline without running into people you know!

We were honored have Maryland State Superintendent Dr. Wright and State Board President Dr. Michael visit Denton Elementary this week! Principal Dr. Crebs highlighted reading instruction and support at DES. Many thanks to Ms. Bringman, Ms. Covey, Ms. Dean, and Ms. Stinson, along with their students, for welcoming visitors into their classrooms!
