Tomorrow, Monday, February 23, all schools and offices will be closed due to inclement weather.
Regarding the need to make up snow days, once the storm has passed and we know how many days need to be recovered, recommendations will be developed and presented to the board for their approval at the March 3 meeting. We will share details as soon as decisions are made.

Rotary District 7630 hosts an annual, three-day Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) conference for high school students across Maryland’s Eastern Shore and Delaware. This leadership camp focuses on personal growth, team challenges, and communication skills for students who demonstrate strong leadership potential.
This weekend, CRHS student John Beaven attended the camp thanks to sponsorship from the Denton Rotary. As part of the experience, John helped pack food donation boxes, and thoughtfully selected Aaron’s Place in Denton as the recipient of his donation.

Despite freezing cold temperatures, this week the Caroline Family warmed up to lots of activities, including visiting with a very large snake!
Friendly reminder: Today is a half day for students. Please be prepared for early dismissal at all schools.
Caroline Family - Please mark your calendars with the following adjustments:
*Friday, February 6: Now a half day for students and a full day for staff
*Monday, February 16 (Presidents Day): Now a full day for students and staff
*Monday, March 16: Now a full day for students and staff
These adjustments were made due to the recent inclement weather days used, and in an effort to avoid extending the school year. With these changes, and if no further inclement weather days are used, the last day of school for students remains June 17, 2025 (half-day).
(Please note: The previous date was rescheduled due to snow days.) Families, check your inbox tomorrow - Tuesday, February 10!
