Patriot Day commemorates the lives of those who died in the 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Virginia and on the United Airlines Flight 93 that crashed in Pennsylvania. Maryland State Superintendent Choudhury and State Board of Education Member Sumpter joined Dr. Simmons, Principal Brohawn and Supervisor of Instruction Katey Allis-Fisher for a tour of some classrooms and the cafe.
