We finally got the very busy Ms. Valdes-Bradner into a board meeting to be recognized as the Maryland Foreign Language Association Teacher of the Year, which was announced in September. We were happy to have visitors from the MD State Dept. of Education who visited with Community School Coordinators and Principals at FES, GES, and CRMS. They appreciated the dedication to implementing the community school strategy which is transforming schools into community hubs of collaboration and support. #CarolineFamily

Special Education Day is celebrated on December 2 to commemorate the signing of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) into law on this day in 1975. IDEA granted access to children with special needs to free and quality public education. We appreciate the #CarolineFamily who teach and support student with special needs!

LMS Wildcats are the grateful recipients of a donation of STEM resources and technology from the Cal Ripken, Sr., Foundation and University of MD Medical Systems. Teachers were able to use the kits on Monday's PD Day and learn how they support the curriculum in science, technology, engineering-related topics and math. What an amazing gift for our students!
