Tues., Jan. 9: Due to the forecast of inclement weather, all afterschool and evening activities are canceled. The 6:00 pm Board of Education meeting will be held as scheduled and, as always, streamed online at tinyurl.com/4sha4mry.
Regarding Weds., Jan. 10, we are closely monitoring the weather forecast and as such, are in close contact with Caroline County Department of Emergency Services. Any decision to delay or close schools will be made based on conditions in the early morning and communicated through our usual channels no later than 5:30 a.m.
Update: Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 10, Caroline County Public Schools will be operating on a two hour delay in order to allow additional time to evaluate road conditions. If it is determined that schools should close for the day because of inclement weather and/or hazardous road conditions, families and staff will be notified no later than 6:00 am.

As a school system, we take allegations of any type of abuse very seriously, and follow the letter of the law when abuse is reported. If any member of the community has evidence of CCPS employee misconduct that violates the law, it should be reported immediately to local law enforcement, the Caroline Department of Social Services, and/or Caroline County Public Schools.
Our staff dedicate themselves to providing a quality education for all of our children on a daily basis. We respectfully ask that the community use the appropriate channels in order to protect them from unfounded, unreported, and harmful rumors.
