Tues., Jan. 9: Due to the forecast of inclement weather, all afterschool and evening activities are canceled. The 6:00 pm Board of Education meeting will be held as scheduled and, as always, streamed online at tinyurl.com/4sha4mry.
Regarding Weds., Jan. 10, we are closely monitoring the weather forecast and as such, are in close contact with Caroline County Department of Emergency Services. Any decision to delay or close schools will be made based on conditions in the early morning and communicated through our usual channels no later than 5:30 a.m.
Update: Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 10, Caroline County Public Schools will be operating on a two hour delay in order to allow additional time to evaluate road conditions. If it is determined that schools should close for the day because of inclement weather and/or hazardous road conditions, families and staff will be notified no later than 6:00 am.
2024 began with a productive and fun week for the #CarolineFamily! 🥳

As a school system, we take allegations of any type of abuse very seriously, and follow the letter of the law when abuse is reported. If any member of the community has evidence of CCPS employee misconduct that violates the law, it should be reported immediately to local law enforcement, the Caroline Department of Social Services, and/or Caroline County Public Schools.
Our staff dedicate themselves to providing a quality education for all of our children on a daily basis. We respectfully ask that the community use the appropriate channels in order to protect them from unfounded, unreported, and harmful rumors.

Thanks to amazing music teachers and supportive families, students were able to share beautiful music with their school friends and communities throughout the month of December. Here are just a few pics from daytime and evening concerts, held in all schools.

Mrs. Claus and the Grinch spread holiday cheer to bus drivers this week. Prior to venturing out, they checked in with Supt. Simmons and Security Coordinator Gestole, and yet the Grinch never cracked a smile!

Thanks to our community for 'voting' in our door decorating contest! We had lots of individual and groups winners - sparkly, interactive, inclusive, hilarious - but as promised, the People's Choice trophy (72 reactions when voting closed!) was awarded to our receptionist, Alice. We love that door too!
