A great story from Mr. Honer, the 2023-24 Caroline Teacher of the Year: Mr. Honer is at an #MDTOY event, standing beside Dorchester County Public Schools Teacher of the Year Briana Beulah. Amazingly enough, Ms. Beulah once sat in Mr. Honer's Science class when he was a brand new teacher. Mr. Honer says, "I probably learned more from her and her classmates than they did from me. This is one of the most gratifying and humbling things about my profession - to be just one small part of her journey fills me with enormous joy and pride. I've learned to try to not just see the students as they are but to also see them as what they can become. That, my friends, is probably the most exciting and rewarding thing about my job." #CarolineFamily #CarolineNeighbors
