Summer Career Enrichment Program
Session I: July 6 – July 16 | Session II: July 20 – July 30
Location: North Dorchester High School in Hurlock
Free bus transportation, breakfast & lunch provided

This program will engage students in hands-on activities that lead to career paths in cybersecurity, media arts, video design, health, computer science, and engineering.

Classes offered will include: Animation, App Development, Careers in Healthcare, Chess, Cyber Security, Drones, Media Arts, Presentation/Graphic Design, and Robotics.

The program is in partnership with People for Change Coalition, Mid-Shore Regional Council, Rural Maryland Council, and Caroline, Dorchester, and Talbot County Public Schools.

The Maryland Center for Community Schools Annual Convening brought together leaders from across the state for a full day of learning, idea exchange, peer networking, and celebration. And of course, Caroline’s Community School Coordinators showed up in full force, ready to learn, share, and represent the Caroline Family.

This year’s theme, Building Collective Power: Forging Resilient Students, Families, and Communities, couldn’t be more aligned with the work happening in our schools every day.

The Caroline Family was feeling lucky this week, and we’ve got the smiles to prove it! 🌈 ☘️

Yes, it's our very own Supervisor of Food Services Beth Brewster at Feeding Our Futures, Moving Forward Together: The 2nd Annual Eastern Shore Food Security Symposium at Chesapeake College. This is an event created to share ideas and strategies to ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food, a subject near and dear to our hearts.

The Food Services team was also in attendance, along with Caroline County Board of Education member Chrissy Bartz. As always, the Caroline Family is well represented!

Join the Special Education Citizens Advisory Committee for Secondary Transition Night, Thursday, March 26, 6:00-7:30 at the Board of Ed Office in Denton. This will be an evening of resources, connections, and support to help students transition successfully from school to adult life.
