The Board of Ed office is having a sweet day, thanks to retired teacher and now Instructional Assistant Ann Haywood and Bullocks donuts! What's the occasion? She was just saying thanks for the support in the past school year. Our #CarolineFamily is the best.
Our elementary schools do a great job of saying goodbye to their fifth graders! Parties, awards, games, t-shirts and even balloon arches to symbolize moving from one school to the next (very cool, #FESFalcons and #CRMSCougars!). We're sharing just a couple of pics from these sweet days but you can see all of them on each school's Facebook page.

Day 1 of #CarolineSummer finds our school improvement teams hard at work, planning for the 2024-2025 school year. A lot of work goes on between buses rolling out in June and buses rolling in in August!

The last week before the last week was a terrific one for the #CarolineFamily!
Our livestream is a great way to watch Caroline Board of Ed meetings (tinyurl.com/mubcsw93) but sadly, it doesn't show what's happening in the audience. We love when student families (affectionately referred to as the paparazzi) make sure they get a picture, and when families of staff members show up to clap. Miss Lily, accompanied by mom Becky (a GES teacher because #CarolineFamily is for real), was an enthusiastic guest this month!

At the May Board of Education meeting, we were honored to have a visit from the Nagel family and Human Services Council representing the Lucas Nagel Memorial Fund. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and they generously donated resources for counselors and mental health staff to use in their work.
