Caroline County elementary schools recently celebrated a joyful “full-circle moment” with their annual Senior Walk-Throughs. In this heartwarming tradition, seniors from both North Caroline and Colonel Richardson return to their former elementary schools—this time in caps and gowns—to stroll the very halls where their journeys first began.
For the seniors, it’s a chance to laugh, reminisce, and reconnect with the teachers and principals who helped shape their early years. For the younger students lining the halls, it’s a fun and inspiring glimpse into what’s ahead, sparking big dreams and excitement about their own futures.
“Our Senior Grad Walks have grown into a cherished tradition, one our elementary students and staff look forward to just as much as our graduating seniors,” Superintendent Dr. Simmons said. “Watching younger students cheer on the role models they admire, and seeing seniors return to the halls where their journeys began, is one of the true joys of graduation season.”
From little backpacks to graduation caps, the walk-through is a celebration of how far these students have come, and all the possibilities still ahead.
