Students in Mr. Newberry's PLTW Introduction to Engineering Design class had fun launching bean bags with catapults they designed and built! They also did data analysis on 20 launches. They calculated the distance from the bullseye distance and the error using a large coordinate plane. Students also examined the difference between accuracy and precision. #ColonelTOUGH
Congratulations to juniors Kelly Harding, Alyssa Bradley, and Ziy'Aira Hudson for being named Student Ambassadors for the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education Next Generation Scholars program! This program collects students’ input and feedback on MBRT programming, resources, and state education policies, while also fostering student voice and leadership development.
