Caroline County Public Schools has earned the Everfi Empowered Seal, a designation awarded to K-12 school districts and individual schools that have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to whole-child education through the use of Everfi’s comprehensive, evidence-informed digital programs.
Everfi programs inform and empower students on critical issues including financial literacy, social-emotional learning, health and wellness, inclusion, and college and career readiness. Currently they are being used in middle school health classes to provide additional instructional resources. Teachers appreciate that the resources are interactive and use real world knowledge to help students connect.
The Empowered Seal designation gives Caroline students the opportunity to apply for college scholarships ranging in value from $1,000 to $500. Students who submit the entry form and complete at least three Everfi lessons in one or more courses during the 2022-2023 school year are eligible. The deadline to enter is December 2, 2022.
