Former Caroline employee Milton Nagel received the Excellence in Education Award at the Maryland Association of Board of Education conference in Annapolis. Mr. Nagel was nominated for the award by the Caroline County Board of Education, and the Caroline family turned out in full force to celebrate this well deserved honor.
This award was established in 2012 to honor MABE's retiring executive director, Carl W. Smith. It is presented to an individual who has demonstrated exemplary leadership and service in advancing excellence in public education in Maryland.f MABE.
