At the June Board of Education meeting, Smart Cookie Foundation Founder Dawn Wayman and Board of Directors member Tamara Kelly-Molock were honored for their support of Caroline County Public Schools. In addition to their past generosity, the Smart Cookie Foundation most recently provided five microgrants to teachers in Caroline County.
Founded on the Eastern Shore and serving Caroline, Talbot, and Queen Anne’s counties, the Smart Cookie Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to postsecondary education and easing the financial pressures faced by teachers. Its mission is rooted in a commitment to support students who are often overlooked by traditional scholarships and to empower educators who consistently go above and beyond.
