The Caroline County FFA Chapter held its annual banquet recently at the Caroline County 4 H Park, celebrating a year of student achievement, community partnership, and agricultural leadership.
The evening opened with the introduction of chapter officers and the traditional FFA Opening Ceremonies, followed by a recitation of the FFA Creed. Guests then received greetings from Maryland FFA Association Vice President Connor Clary, as well as Mark Jones, President of the Caroline County Board of Education.
An invocation was offered before attendees enjoyed dinner and participated in a silent auction supporting chapter activities. The program continued with the introduction of special guests, alumni, and long time supporters of the chapter. Additional greetings were shared by of the Caroline County Commissioners Larry Porter and Frank Bartz and Choptank Ruritan Club President Mark Fuchs.
The chapter recognized its alumni, community partners, and supporters for their ongoing contributions to agricultural education in Caroline County. The highlight of the evening followed, as FFA members were awarded degrees, honors, and chapter awards for their accomplishments throughout the year.
The banquet concluded with the official FFA Closing Ceremony.
