We were honored recently to have Maryland State Superintendent Dr. Carey Wright visit the Caroline Family at Greensboro Elementary School. Dr. Wright brought along an enthusiastic team comprised of Maryland Teacher of the Year Alonna Soward-Puryear, State Board Members Dr. Bell and Mr. Greer, Chief of Staff Alex Reese, and Administrative Officer Spencer Williams.
During their visit, they observed teachers working with students in large and small groups, discussing problem‑solving strategies, and engaging in tasks that required focus and collaboration. The visit offered a great view of the day‑to‑day learning taking place in all our classrooms.
