Last week, four scholar-athletes from the Bayside Athletic Conference were honored at a banquet held in Cambridge:
Emma Brewer and Kenton Robbins from Colonel Richardson High School, and Linda Ridgell and James Cohoon from North Caroline High School.
All four students were able to attend with their families and receive a plaque commemorating their achievement. Also in attendance were Superintendent Derek Simmons, Supervisor of Instruction Jon Marketto, Colonel Richardson Principal Jared Sherman and Athletic Director Brett Ireland, and North Caroline Principal Matt Spiker and Athletic Director AJ Jackson. Mr. Ireland also serves as Bayside Athletic Conference president.
