Dear Caroline Family,
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked our way through a very snowy and icy week. At this point, we have used all three of the snow days that were built into the school year calendar, plus another two days that will need to be made up in order to meet the Maryland requirement of 180 student days.
At the Tuesday, February 3rd Board of Education meeting, I will recommend options to the Board for making up those days, with consideration given to potential inclement weather in February and March. Following the meeting, final decisions regarding calendar changes will be communicated to staff and families as soon as possible.
