Artwork by Colonel Richardson High School student Addison Masten has been chosen for the annual Caroline County Public Schools holiday card. Addison is a student in Ms. Bolles’ art class.
Each year, art teachers provide students the opportunity to produce and submit artwork for the school system’s holiday card. Submissions are narrowed down and, in keeping with long-standing tradition, the superintendent then chooses the winner. Dr. Simmons said all entries were worthy of representing the district; however, Brooke’s artwork stood out because the roaring fire and mug with a hot drink embodied the winter holiday spirit.
Addison was recognized at the December Board of Education meeting. All entries may be viewed on the CCPS Flickr page.
