Preston Automotive Group recently donated over $4000 to the Caroline Career & Technology Center’s (CCTC) Automotive Program. This marks the second year that the local business has generously donated to the CCTC program.

In March of 2023, the company dedicated the Navy Blue Preston Frog to local automotive technician programs with the goal of giving back to the community through donations to those programs. According to Preston Automotive Group President David Wilson, Jr., “One of our core values is community. When service technicians enroll in these exceptional automotive programs to become certified, they have our full support every step of the way. They are an integral part of the future workforce.”

Automotive teachers Kevin Cahall and Greg Butler stated that the generous donation will expand opportunities for their students in their automotive knowledge and experience, and that the funds will be put to good use.

In addition to presenting the donation, guests took the time to speak with students about opportunities in their company and growth potential from within. They shared the characteristics that make someone a good fit to work at Preston Automotive, and answered questions from students.

“Partners like Preston Automotive are invaluable,” CCTC Principal Courtney Handte said, “and we are lucky to have them supporting our Automotive Technology Program of Study.”

On hand to present the donation:

• David Wilson, Jr. - Preston Automotive Group President

• Amanda Wilson - Asset Management Specialist

• John Lee - General Manager

• Dana Horner - Service Manager
