Ms. Valliant's Kindergarten Fun Friday followed the Reading Essential Question, “How do you get along with new friends?” with Spookley the Square Pumpkin fun!
Mrs. Pearson and Mrs. Eckrich's Kindergarten had a Fun Friday! After learning about friendship this week, they read Spookley the Square Pumpkin and discussed how he is a good friend. Then they made their very own Spookley! The number of teeth on their pumpkin was determined by the number of letters in the children's names. Then they compared pumpkin teeth!

For Fun Friday, Mrs. Pearson and Mrs. Eckrich’s Kindergarten class tasted 3 different varieties of apples! They also read Ten Apples on Top and put ten apples on top of themselves! 🍎 🍏

In Mrs. Pearson's Kindergarten this week, we learned "that we are all an important member of our classroom, but we are all unique." Our favorite projects are our self-portraits and our tie-dye names!

Please remember that tomorrow, Friday, September 15, 2023, is a 1 PM dismissal day for elementary school students including pre-kindergarten 3 year and 4 year old program students. Be sure you have made arrangements for your child to arrive home early tomorrow. Dismissal will begin at 1 PM for RES.
Mrs. Fox's 3rd Grade Class and Mrs. Mitchell’s 4th Grade Class completed a rhythm review game called "Rhythm Telephone” in Music Class with Ms. Weer 🎶
Each group used a rhythm to tap on the shoulder of the person next to them. After the last person had the rhythm tapped on their shoulder they said the rhythm that they "felt" out loud. The goal was for each group to repeat the same correct rhythm that Ms. Weer gave to them to guess!
