We are officially halfway through the American Heart Association’s Kids Heart Challenge, and our students are doing an amazing job stepping up to make a difference!
If you have already signed up and started raising funds—thank you! Your support is helping kids with special hearts and building lifesaving skills within our PES community. If you haven’t registered yet, there is still plenty of time to join us and be part of the excitement.
Through Finn’s Mission, students are learning the lifesaving skill of Hands-Only CPR and how to recognize the signs of a stroke. Every student who signs up can:
Register on the PES Heart Challenge site and download the free “AHA Schools” app.
Raise funds to support the American Heart Association and earn thank-you gifts.
Last year, PES raised over $3,800. This year, our goal is $4,500 and 195 participants—and we are making great progress! If we reach our goal, the top fundraisers in each grade will get the chance to silly string both Mrs. Waters and Mr. Angeloni. We would love to see every family register and participate, even if you are only able to contribute a small amount.
Additionally, if 50% of our families sign up, our school will earn a $500 gift certificate for physical activity and recess equipment to support the health of our entire school community.
