👋 Hey PES Panthers! Big news — Career Day is happening May 23, 2025! 🗓️ Wondering what it’s all about? It’s simple: Dress up like what you want to be when you grow up! Dreaming of being a scientist? Throw on that lab coat! 🧪 Thinking about being a chef? Grab a (safe) apron and whisk! 👨🍳 Future firefighter? Astronaut? Artist? Pilot? We want to see it ALL! 🚀🎨🚒 Quick reminder: 👉 Go ALL OUT! Show us your future self — we can't wait to cheer you on. 📸 (And yes... we’ll be snapping lots of pics 👀 so bring your best career look!) See you on May 23rd!
🎉 PES Field Day is Friday, May 30, 2025! Parents are welcome from 9:30–11:00 AM & 12:45–3:30 PM. Students must wear tennis shoes, bring water, and follow the dress code. ❄️ Each student gets a snow cone! 🌞 The rain date is Monday, June 2. Any change to Field Day will be announced by May 29 if needed! #PESFieldDay #PrestonPride
Attention 5th-Grade Parents: CRMS will hold its 5th-Grade Information Night on Monday, June 2nd, at 6 PM. All current 5th-grade families are encouraged to attend.
Open enrollment has started for Pre-K and Kindergarten programming for the 25-26 school year. Please see our newsletter for more information.
🎉🌸 Springfest is Almost Here! 🌸🎉 Mark your calendars — just a few more weeks until the Preston Panther PTO Springfest! Springfest will occur on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Preston Volunteer Fire Department. Bring the whole family for an afternoon of fun, food, and fundraising! There will be a Silent Auction, Tricky Tray Prizes, a Cake Wheel (just 25¢ a spin!), tons of games, themed gift baskets, raffles, and more! All proceeds support the students of Preston Elementary School for the 2025–26 school year. Springfest is open to the entire community — you don’t need to have a student at PES to join the fun! Let’s build strong schools and an even stronger community together.
🎉 Educator of the Week: Mrs. Juli Walls! 🎉 Please join us in celebrating Mrs. Juli Walls, our incredible Math Specialist here at Preston Elementary! With 17 years of dedicated service—all at Preston—Mrs. Walls continues to be a cornerstone of our school community. Mrs. Walls holds degrees and certifications: B.S. in Elementary Education from Salisbury University, a M.A. in Education from LaSalle University, and is working on their Post-Master Certificate in Educational Leadership. Mrs. Walls serves on the ITSS SIP Team and is an active PTO member, constantly working to enhance the learning experience for every student. Mrs. Walls professional goal is to support teachers in creating high-quality math learning experiences for all students. Thank you, Mrs. Walls, for your passion, leadership, and unwavering commitment to student success! 💜📐
