Tonight's the night! We are looking forward to seeing everyone at Back to School Night.
5:30-6:30 for 7th & 8th grade families
Skip the line and get your Schedule ahead of time on PowerSchool (take a screenshot in case you don't have service at the school). If you have your schedule enter at the main entrance, pick up a map and start finding your classrooms. If you need a schedule, enter at the cafeteria.

6th grade: we will have a brief information session in the cafeteria beginning at 7:00 before dismissing to classrooms.

Be sure to visit our community partners too!

Parking reminders: overflow parking is available at the baseball field across the street.

It's August and school is around the corner! We are looking forward to Back to School Night on August 20th. 7th & 8th grade families can pick up schedules & maps in the cafeteria and head straight to classrooms anytime between 5:30 and 6:30. We will have a brief information session in the cafeteria for 6th grade families beginning at 7:00 before dismissing to classrooms.

Greetings 6th grade families! We are excited to welcome our incoming 6th graders, but know there are always some nerves and lots of questions. That's why we have tours available this summer before the big crowd on Back to School Night. We are offering tours to 6th graders and any new students on July 23rd from 9am-12pm and August 11th from 3-6pm. No need to pre-register. Just show up and join us. Tours will start every 30 minutes. We hope you can join us.

Attention Families of Rising 9th Graders!

The NCHS 9th Grade Academy Team is exploring the possibility of bringing back our ROOKIE Boot Camp program for incoming freshmen. This program is designed to help students make a smooth transition to high school by becoming familiar with the building, meeting staff and classmates, learning expectations, and building confidence before the first day of school.

To help us determine interest and plan appropriately, we are asking families to complete the brief interest form linked below.

Your feedback is important and will help us decide whether to move forward with the program. If sufficient interest exists, additional details will be shared through email and NCHS social media as soon as they become available.

We look forward to welcoming the Class of 2030 to the Ridge!

It may have been the last week of school, but our Wildcats were still learning! Check out Dr Morganelli's class! Students extracted DNA material from strawberries and chickpeas during a lab. 🥼 🧬👨🏽‍🔬 #WildcatPRIDE

Good morning 8th grade families! If you plan to join us for today's awards and ice cream social, please plan to park across the street at the baseball field, and walk around to the back of the building. You will enter the building through the rear gate into the gym. There is handicap parking available in the back lot right by this entrance as well. The gate will open at 12:15. We will have sign out sheets at the exit if you plan to take your child home with you after the festivities. We look forward to celebrating with you!

End of the year reminders: All technology has been collected. Be sure your child has turned in their Chromebook, charger and carrying case so you are not billed for them. Yondr cell phone pouches will be collected Wednesday morning. There is a $30 replacement fee for lost pouches. We do have a limited number of yearbooks available for purchase. $25 cash in the main office. First come, first served. Thank you for a great year! We wish all of our families a happy summer!

Thank you to Mrs. Layton and our community partners for a fabulous Literacy Night last week.

Congratulations to the newest members of our National Junior Honors Society. 24 students were recently inducted based on their commitment to scholarship and community service. #WildcatPRIDE

Last week we celebrated our SGA-led can tab collection efforts. Our students collected 80,000 can tabs for Ronald McDonald House!!! We celebrated our top collectors with some treats from our local McDonald's and RMH partners who joined us. They explained how our donations will help provide transportation for families facing medical needs and treatment. Thank you, Wildcats, for giving back! #WildcatPRIDE

🚨YEARBOOK INFORMATION: Yearbooks were distributed to all students who preordered them on Friday afternoon. If your student was absent, their homeroom teacher will distribute when they return. Extra yearbooks will be sold during lunches on a first-come, first-served basis on Monday, June 8th. $25 cash only.
