The Pet Supply Drive has started! Bring in any of the supplies listed below. 1 item = 1 service learning hour! Students can earn up to 3 service learning hours. Please have your students turn them into their first period by May 2nd. All items will be donated to the Caroline County Humane Society.

Not only did we have a successful day 1 of MCAP ELA testing, but as part of Food Waste Prevention Week, LMS students and staff participated in compost day at lunch!

Good evening, LMS families! Tomorrow we begin MCAP ELA testing! Students will test each day for the reminder of the week. Please be sure your child comes to school on time with a charged laptop, and a good night's sleep. We are looking forward to having them show what they know!

Fine dining for the Caroline family! A 9-session Community Kitchen Workshop at LMS gave students the opportunity to explore career pathways in the Food and Beverage Management and Agriculture Programs, and introduced them to Career and Technology Education (CTE) opportunities available in high school. Many thanks to Chef Ogden with CCTC, Chef Murray with the Culinary Arts Center, and Chef Sipala with Shore Gourmet for an informative and educational experience for students, and a delicious fine dining experience for their families! Reminiscing on the 2nd annual Talent Show hosted by Mr Rein! Students did an incredible job showcasing their talents and we are so proud of their accomplishments! See you next year at the 3rd annual talent show! #WildcatPRIDE

7th grade students traveled to Adkins Arboretum this week! Our scientists learned about our place in the Chesapeake Bay watershed as part of a grand-funded MWEE: Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience. They explored aquatic creatures, identified different animal skulls, and played a spirited game of predator/prey, where they tallied and tracked data. #WildcatPRIDE #CarolineFamily

In collaboration with the Caroline County Council of the Arts, a student art exhibition is scheduled for April 11, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at The Foundry, 401 Market Street in Denton. The exhibition will feature a diverse range of mediums and subjects, created by our students and curated by their art teachers. Admission to the event is FREE! Attendees may explore and purchase artwork, which will be on display throughout April. #CarolineFamily
