Dear 3rd Grade Parents/Guardians,
This is a friendly reminder that all 3rd-grade students will participate in the Maryland Comprehensive Assessment Program (MCAP) English Language Arts testing next week. Testing will occur Monday, April 7th through Thursday, April 10th. All students must arrive on time daily, as testing begins at 9:15. Please encourage your child to sleep well and try their best! Don't hesitate to get in touch with DES if you have any questions! Have a terrific weekend!🐬

DES 3rd graders were rockin' and rolling on their field trip to the Dover Skating Rink!
In collaboration with the Caroline County Council of the Arts, a student art exhibition is scheduled for April 11, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at The Foundry, 401 Market Street in Denton. The exhibition will feature a diverse range of mediums and subjects, created by our students and curated by their art teachers. Admission to the event is FREE! Attendees may explore and purchase artwork, which will be on display throughout April.

This morning our DES Dolphins kicked off their One School, One Book, 8 Class Pets +1 Squirrel divided by 1 Dog= Chaos! Dr.Crebs read the first chapter and a surprise guest made an entrance! We hope you enjoy the book and have fun reading!

It's time! Enrollment is now open for eligible PreK and Kindergarten students, and all other students new to Caroline County Public Schools.
Please note:
• If your child is currently in a Caroline PreK class, there is no need to enroll again.
• If your child is currently in PreK-3, they need to be enrolled for PreK-4 at their school of residence and requalified.
