April 17, 2020 – Today, Dr. Karen Salmon, State Superintendent, directed that all Maryland school districts remain closed through May 15th.
“This does not change our Continuity of Learning Plan, established to maintain learning opportunities for our students,” stated Dr. Patty Saelens, Superintendent. “This news simply extends the time we will provide virtual learning for students either online or through paper packets.”
Dr. Saelens added, “From the start, students, staff, and families have shown great commitment and positivity with virtual learning. We will continue to support their efforts in every way possible.”
