Reporting Incidents of Bullying at CCPS Schools

<< Back to CCPS News

CCPS is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and respectful educational environment where the worth and dignity of individuals are valued and their safety and rights are protected. In an effort to reinforce the processes we have in place through CCPS policy and regulation, we are reminding students and families of the procedures for reporting incidents of bullying.

We strongly believe that we all must work together – students, staff, families, and the community – to act as ‘upstanders’ rather than bystanders, and be the person who intervenes on behalf of a person being bullied. The school and district cannot act on incidents of bullying if we are unaware or not fully informed of the facts from everyone involved.

Students who believe that they have been subject to bullying, harassment, or intimidation or who have knowledge of employees or students who may be engaging in these acts should immediately report the problem to a teacher, counselor, or school administrator.

We also encourage all cases of bullying and harassment be reported by using the forms below. However, if a student or family member is unable to complete the form for any reason, help is available through the school office or the district Student Services office (410-479-3253).  After the form is submitted, the school administration and Student Services division is notified so the investigation may be completed. All investigations must be conducted by school administration in a timely manner.
