The North Caroline High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Student Government Association (SGA), and Educators Rising Club joined together to continue the Caroline Goes Purple initiative while raising money for His Hope Haven, a homeless shelter in Denton.

The SGA provided wreathes with purple bows for each door in the school, and invited teachers and classes to decorate. Voting took place during lunch periods with students and staff paying a penny a vote for their favorite door.

Mr. Bodzer won first place, raising $250.01. Ms. Scanlon was awarded second place, raising $153.70, and Mr. Martin came in third place with $70.00.

The creative competition raised many thing – holidays spirits, awareness of drug abuse prevention and treatment, and $814.55 for the homeless shelter!
