At the August Board of Education Meeting, Lisa Spencer, Risk Manager with the Maryland Association of Boards of Education (MABE), awarded the North Caroline High School custodial staff and the support services maintenance staff with certificates that recognized a perfect score on an inspection conducted through the Maryland Risk Assessment Program.

Ms. Spencer explained that school are rigorously inspected in 15 different comprehensive categories, and that out of 131 schools inspected, only five achieved a perfect score.

Mr. Nagel noted that while all Caroline schools and the Support Services Center have earned consistently high scores from the MABE program, this year NCHS garnered a perfect score.
