The next Community Equity meeting with be held on Tuesday, April 26 at 6:00 pm and conducted virtually (Zoom link). The agenda will feature information about the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future, along with a discussion about the importance of the student voice in decision making.
CCPS Blueprint Implementation Coordinator Sara Visintainer will provide an overview of the law and discuss how it seeks to serve all students, especially those who have historically been underserved and under-resourced. Getting implementation right will require the effective collaboration of teachers, administrators, parents, local partners, and our elected and appointed leaders. We look forward to working with our community during this process.
We will also hear from members of the NCHS and CRHS Student Voice groups. Students are an important stakeholder in our Educational and Community equity work. They will share their perspective on why it is important to include Student Voice in educational decision making and what they would like to accomplish next school year.
