The Caroline County Board of Education will meet at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 for a closed session pursuant to state government under the Open Meetings Act (General Provisions Article 3-305) for the following reasons:
(1) To discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, or officials over whom this public body has jurisdiction, any other personnel matter that affects one or more specific individuals. (14) Before a contract is awarded or bids are opened, to discuss a matter directly related to a negotiating strategy or the contents of a bid or proposal, if public discussion or disclosure would adversely impact the ability of the public body to participate in the competitive bidding or proposal process.
The Caroline County Board of Education will hold their monthly public work session beginning at 6:00 p.m. after the closed session. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, presenters may be participating via video call. The public may not attend in person; however, the meeting will be livestreamed to the public.
