First Year Teachers Honored with Reception

The annual reception to honor first year teachers was held on May 22nd at North Caroline High School. 42 teachers, brand new last August and throughout the year, joined administrators and guests to celebrate the end of their first school year at CCPS.

Superintendent Patty Saelens, Amy Anderson, president of the Caroline County Education Association, Wilbur Levengood, Caroline County Commissioner, and Louise Cheek, Board of Education President, all welcomed the teachers and congratulated them on a completing their first year. Each teacher was presented with a certificate, a tote, and a CCPS t-shirt.
