Physics is recommended for the college bound student or students with a strong interest in science, engineering, and/or mathematics. It includes kinetics, mechanical interactions, energy, momentum, and conservation principles. The application of algebraic concepts in physics will be emphasized during this course. Prerequisites and other notes: Satisfactory completion Algebra I (303), and Geometry (305). Algebra II (308) is recommended as a co-requisite or prerequisite for this course. May be used as the third course in the high school sequence for science.
