This course will focus on the role of the student as a citizen, family member, consumer, and active participant in the business world. Students will explore many important areas of economic interest that will enhance their financial security. They will discover ways to maximize their earnings potential, develop strategies for managing their resources, explore skills for the wise use of credit, and gain knowledge of the different ways of investing and managing money. In addition, students will learn about risk management and laws that protect them as a consumer. Prerequisite and other notes: This course is recommended for juniors and seniors only.
