This course focuses on how Earth’s land (geosphere), air (atmosphere), water (hydrosphere), and living things (biosphere) interact. It also focuses on the ways humans have an effect on the environment. Various methods for reducing damage to the environment will be presented and evaluated. Learning for this course will occur through laboratory investigations, projects, research, and simulations. Prerequisites and other notes: This is the second required course in the high school science sequence, taken after satisfactory completion of Biology (403).
