Students will develop the ability to read, interpret and prepare technical plans, blueprint drawings, schematics and technical manuals. Communication and teamwork will be emphasized as well as safe practices in the workplace. Techniques for achieving client and customer satisfaction will be included. Hands on projects are included working from drawings to the finished project. Welding techniques emphasized in this course will be: sheet metal, arc welding, and symbology welding. Prerequisites and other notes: Recommended for grades 10 – 12. Students must take Industry Assessment to receive credit for course.
