This course is designed to extend and improve personal growth through color skills developed in course 923. Students will research, develop, and/or modify individual personal skills to achieve specific goals. Areas of focus may include a variety of wet, dry and experimental media derived from a variety of sources as they gain an insight into both realistic and abstract work. Types of media may include pastels, colored pencils, tempera, acrylic, watercolor, printmaking, dyes, oils, and mixed media. As a culminating activity, students will build a personal portfolio that is reflective of their acquired skills. Prerequisites and other notes: Successful completion of Color Theory I (923).
