This course is designed for students who wish to demonstrate mastery of any two-dimensional or three-dimensional medium or process. Such media may include graphic design, digital imaging, photography, collage, painting, printmaking, mixed media, ceramics, and sculpture. Students will develop technical skills and familiarize themselves with the functions of visual elements as they create an individual portfolio of work to be used in the evaluation of the AP Studio Art course. Portfolios can also be used for college admission and scholarship opportunities. Prerequisites and other notes: Two credits in art courses beyond Foundations of Art (920).
