Apprenticeship Work-Based Learning (WBL) Experience 1
The first part of a work-based learning experience which takes place on a work-site and must be a paid experience (at least minimum wage). All three parts of WBL experience must accumulate to a minimum of 450 hours. This experience is directed by the WBL agreement provided by the school system and a student work plan developed among the student, WBL coordinator, and eligible employer. The student work plan identifies the appropriate competencies, duties, tasks and outcomes in academic, technical, and workplace readiness areas that apply directly to the student’s goals for a specific work-related placement.
