AP Physics C (Mechanics) S1
AP Physics C (Mechanics) emphasizes an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of mechanics. Areas of study will include: kinematics, Newton’s Laws of Motion, work, power, energy, circular motion, rotation, oscillation, gravitation, system particles and momentum. AP Physics uses a college level textbook and involves student laboratory investigation expected at the college level. Additionally, this course will emphasize the application of calculus to solve problems. Prerequisites and other notes: Satisfactory completion or concurrent enrollment in Calculus (315).
