Mr. & Mrs. Alex Green, curators from the Harriet Tubman Museum located in Cambridge, were guest speakers in Ms. Deel’s cosmetology class on during African-American History Month. This was the first time the curators had presented to students in a classroom setting and their inspiring information was well received by the students.

Also in honor of African American History Month, Ms. Deel showed students the documentary “Four Hundred Years Without a Comb” and guided them in researching and writing about African-American inventors of cosmetology tools and products.
