Caroline celebrated National Principals Month in October with a few gifts and much praise. At their monthly meeting with Dr. Saelens and central office leadership, principals received gift baskets full of snacks and treats, along with a framed photo of their mascot and school building.

Principals were also celebrated on social media. They were able to share a few facts about themselves and in return, were treated to #ThankAPrincipal comments from the community.

“We are fortunate to have principals at each of our schools who are truly committed to making a difference in the lives of students,” Saelens said. “School leadership is demanding, and their dedication and leadership is worthy of recognition. Our efforts to say thank you are simply a small token of our true appreciation.”

National Principals Month is sponsored by the National Association of Secondary School Principals, the National Association of Elementary School Principals, and the American Federation of School Administrators.
