Caroline Welcomes Dr. VonDenBosch!

At the January board of education meeting, the board recognized Dr. Nicole M. VonDenBosch, Colonel Richardson High School principal, for recently completing a doctoral degree in Innovation and Leadership Programs from Wilmington University. Dr. Saelens spoke of the time and hard work involved in this accomplishment, and praised Dr. VonDenBosch for her tenacity and determination.

Dr. VonDenBosch is a graduate of Colonel Richardson High School. She attended college at Chesapeake Community College and Salisbury University, earning a BA in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Public School Administration. She will officially be awarded her doctorate in May of this year.

This is Dr. VonDenBosch’s 21st year in education, all in Caroline County. She began her career as a teacher at Preston Elementary, became an assistant principal at Denton Elementary, and then principal at Federalsburg Elementary and Lockerman Middle. She is now in her first year as principal at Colonel Richardson High School.
