Caroline County Public Schools (CCPS) has launched a new digital flyer initiative through Peachjar. Up until now, schools sent home flyers in students’ backpacks. As part of our efforts to be more environmentally friendly and to embrace innovative technology, we are moving from paper to a digital flyer delivery. Paperless delivery of school flyers removes a significant administrative burden from teachers, office staff, and volunteers, and keeps families better informed about upcoming school activities, programs, and events.

Families do not have to sign-up to begin receiving communications. Peachjar will use the first email address that is on file with their child’s school. Families will receive a welcome email from Peachjar that includes a username and password but this is only needed if the parent wishes to adjust email delivery preferences.

For community groups that have previously sent home district-approved flyers in backpacks, Peachjar has an easy Program Provider process which allows CCPS to approve flyers for families to access.

More information about this new initiative is available on the CCPS website.
