The 362 graduates of the Class of 2022 were collectively awarded over $3.3 million in merit, athletic, academic, and senatorial scholarships combined.
A large portion of that amount is generously provided through scholarships from organizations in Caroline County and on the Eastern Shore. Prior to graduation, each high school welcomed scholarship providers and recipients, along with families and staff, to awards ceremonies.
“These scholarships are a reflection of the support and encouragement our community gives to education in Caroline,” Superintendent Dr. Derek L. Simmons said. “Citizens and organizations invest their time, talent and treasure in the future of our students, and we could not be more appreciative.”
