Caroline Early Head Start and the Family Support Center recently celebrated the transition of 33 students who have “aged out” of their programs. The children will now move on to CCPS pre-kindergarten and other programs serving four year old students.

The large gathering of students and families enjoyed dinner and a program of activities and sing-a-longs. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Patricia Saelens welcomed families and stressed that CCPS was looking forward to their continued involvement in the next level of their child’s education. She shared that students whose parents are engaged in their schools meet with more success on academic, social, and behavior indicators.

As a goodbye gift, each child received a new school backpack full of supplies and a 2017-2018 yearbook.
