Caroline County Public Schools is partnering with Chesapeake College to provide four Career and Technology Education (CTE) Dedicated Dual Enrollment courses in the spring.
Three CTE courses will be available at the Caroline Career and Technology Center (CCTC):
- Introduction to Agribusiness- Monday and Wednesday, fourth period at CCTC; no prerequisite required
- Welding- Monday and Wednesday, fourth period at CCTC; no prerequisite required
- Computer Science Operating Systems – Tuesday and Thursday, fourth period at CCTC; prerequisite required is a passing grade in any CCPS computer science course
One CTE course will be available at North Caroline High School (NCHS):
- Teaching Children with Special Needs- Tuesday and Thursday, fourth period at NCHS in Mrs. Dvorak’s room; no prerequisite required
Courses are open to CCTC, Colonel Richardson High School (CRHS) and NCHS students. Students need a 2.5 cumulative grade point average to enroll; financial aid is available.
